The idea

Games you can finish on a coffee break, with a sense of humor about office life and mortality. Each one is a single page that loads fast on a phone and installs from the browser, with no app store involved.

What's in the arcade

Nine quick games that run in any phone browser and install like apps, with shared all-time and weekly leaderboards, a daily challenge, ghost replays of your best run, and a share card for every new high score.

• Vertical Filing. One-tap tower stacker. Overhanging paperwork gets shredded.
• Funeral Drummer. Three-lane rhythm game. Miss enough beats and the funeral becomes a party.
• Candy Evolution. A 2048-style merge game through 11 tiers of candy to the Sugar Singularity.
• Avalanche Ski. One-thumb downhill escape. Carve for a multiplier, tuck to outrun the snow.
• Quick Sync. Office horde survival. Coworkers swarm you for "a quick sync" until 5:00 PM.
• Labeled Lunch. Break-room tower defense against 15 waves of lunch thieves.
• Return to Office. Side-scrolling shooter through an office of assimilated coworkers.
• Afterlife Allotment. A farming sim by the river Styx. Pay Charon 1,000 obols in as few days as you can.
• Last Ride. Hill-climb driving. Haul Uncle Gerald's coffin 1,000 m to the cemetery.

Fair play and privacy

• No accounts: a high score takes three initials
• Raw IP addresses are never stored
• Signed run tickets and rate limits keep forged scores in check
• Installed games keep working offline
