Contractor marketing site

Baker and Son's Construction

A fast, mobile-first marketing site that replaced a concrete and excavation contractor's dead web presence, built and verified end to end.

The problem

The client's business was listed as running on Google Sites, but its registered domain had quietly expired into an unrelated placeholder page — a fact the owner didn't know about until we found it. The real content lived on a Google Sites page that itself wasn't easy to find; the obvious URL 404'd.

What shipped

Baker and Son's only web presence had gone dark: an expired domain and an undiscoverable Google Sites page. Reints Labs rebuilt it as a lightweight Astro site with a working contact form, verified in production with a full test suite and a 100/95/100/100 Lighthouse audit before handoff.

Built with Astro and plain CSS, with a working, accessible contact form on Netlify Forms. Every fact on the site was pulled directly from the client's real content, not inferred or invented.

Verified before handoff

  • Full Playwright test suite: 23 passed, 1 correctly skipped
  • Production Lighthouse audit: Performance 100, Accessibility 95, Best Practices 100, SEO 100
  • A real end-to-end form submission, confirmed in the Netlify panel and as a received email
  • Confirmed a live git push auto-triggers a production deploy

Still finishing with the owner

  • Confirmed spelling of the business name
  • Social media URLs
  • Service area
  • Business address
  • Licensing details
  • Real photos of finished work
